A little information about us
Money Maximising Advisors is a team of certified financial planners, qualified financial advisors, and tax advisors. We operate nationwide with our head office in Galway City. We are fully regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. We are a multi-agency mortgage, pension, investment, and life insurance brokerage. We provide financial advice on mortgages, pensions (for both the public and the private sector), investments, redundancies, inheritance tax, estate planning, and life insurance.

Diarmaid Blake
Managing Director
Diarmaid Blake is the Managing Director of Money Maximising Advisors Limited and holds the position of PCF 1 (Executive Director) and PCF 8.
Diarmaid Blake is a (CEO). Diarmaid is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and also holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and an Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance. Over the past 9 years, he has worked and gained extensive experience in many areas of the Financial Services Industry. Diarmaid also has had a successful sporting career as an Inter County Footballer with Galway. During his 10-year inter-county career, he has won 4 Senior Connacht titles and was nominated for an All Star in 2007. He now frequently provides pre-match, live and post-match analysis on Gaelic football matches for Galway Bay FM and Newstalk.
Lorna Egan
Executive Director
Lorna Egan is a Director of Money Maximising Advisors Limited and holds the position of PCF 1 (Executive Director).
Lorna has 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. She is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), and Specialist Investment Advisor (SIA). Having worked for some of the largest financial institutions in the country, Lorna has gained a wealth of experience and product knowledge in Life, Pensions and Investments. She specialises in complex pension arrangements including structuring property purchase, share and loan note deals. Lorna also has extensive experience in dealing with Corporate, Commercial and Company structures.
Clive Slattery
Tax Advisor (Ex-Revenue)
Another central part of our team is Clive Slattery. Clive provides public sector superannuation advice and comprehensive tax advice.
Clive frequently presents at our seminars to specific groups in both the private and public sector on complex pension and tax issues. Clive has previously worked for Revenue over a 32-year period. He held the position of General Manager of the Revenues Pension Department for 16 years. He was one of the main producers of the Revenue Manual for Public Sector Superannuation Schemes, so his knowledge in this area is quite comprehensive. He frequently is employed on a consultancy basis by the Revenue to upskill new and existing employees in Revenue on specific Superannuation schemes. He also lectures at The Irish Tax Institute, Irish Institute of Pension Managers, and National College of Ireland.
