AVIVA Fees and Charges – Savings and Investment
Below Is A Summary And Brief Explanation Of All Of The Main Fees And Charges Associated With The Investment.
Set up Fees
Aviva apply zero set up fees to your policy. Money Maximising Advisors charge zero set up fees also.
Allocation Rate
In summary, an allocation rate is the percentage of your funds that are actually transferred into your plan. For example, an allocation rate of 95% means that €95 out of every €100 that you contribute actually is received into your policy. It is always advised to get a 100% allocation rate if possible, at a minimum.
A 100% allocation rate can have a significantly positive impact on your fund over a 10 20 year period, particularly when added to any compound interest returns over the period of your plan.
Aviva applies an allocation rate of 101% on your contributions – this means not only is there no contribution charge, but Aviva adds an extra 1% to your investment, so more than 100% of your money is invested into your plan.
Annual Management Charge (AMC)
This is a charge that all Providers apply to your fund annually. They charge this to manage your investment to ensure that your returns are maximised and react to market sentiment. Annual Management charges typically range from 1-2%.
Please see table below for breakdown of the specific fees & charges for all fund options.

For AVIVA Investments
Aviva applies an allocation rate of 101% on your contributions, just like for the regular savings, but Aviva charges lesser annual management charges for lump sum investments which rages between 0.90% to 1.25%.
Please see table below for breakdown of the specific fees & charges for all fund options.
No Exit Penalties
Most Aviva funds allow you to access or switch your investment without exit penalties, though standard pension withdrawal rules may apply.
Transparency and Value
All fees are clearly disclosed up front, so you always know exactly what you’re paying. This commitment to transparency is one reason many clients choose Aviva.
